Welcome from the Principal

Welcome to Sweet Water High School, Home of the Bulldogs!

We have a highly effective faculty and staff who are grounded in our mission to provide a high-quality, comprehensive, and meaningful education for all students so that they develop character, citizenship, and scholarship. The strength of our Bulldog Nation lies in our pursuit to be the best – of students, of parents, of faculty, of academic programming and extra-curricular offerings, and community and business partner involvement.

In addition to honors, standard, and inclusion classes, we offer a variety of courses. We feature robust College and Career Technical Education courses with the following Programs of Study: Engineering, STEM; Media Production; Journalism and Broadcasting; Marketing and Business: Entrepreneurship; and Information Technology: Programming. Our Enrichment Department showcases a diverse portfolio, including Visual Arts, Theatre, Band, and Color Guard. Also, our scholar-athletes can participate in a multitude of Varsity sports as well as a wide variety of Club Sports. Our students are further engaged in our school community through service-based clubs, student-interest clubs, and academically-focused clubs.

Sweet Water High School not only offers our students a first-class education with opportunities to earn college credits through our Coastal Alabama & Wallace CC courses and our dual credit/industry certification programs, but we also provide many ways for our students to deeply engage with our school community: through the arts, through athletics, through project-based and experiential learning, and student-led clubs.

At Sweet High School, we are shaping the future by preparing citizens, scholars, and leaders to be successful in college, career, and life.

Looking forward to meeting you,

Dr. Marc Tracy
